9th International Diabetes Summit 2025

The 3-day mega event comprised of :

• Workshop on Science and Art of Strength Training in Diabetes
• Symposium on Diabetes, Endocrinology and Women’s Health

Various interesting and interactive sessions like New Avenues and Approaches to Obesity Care , Insulin Therapy Beyond Prescription, A Silver Lining for Type 1 Diabetes, The Thyroid Masterclass, Diabetic Foot: A Clinical Perspective, Annual Technology Symposium attracted the audience. There were various scientific sessions by expert faculty covering diabetes complications and its management in day to day life.

The summit was a grand success with more than 2800 registrations. We were fortunate to have Dr. C .B. Sanjeevi – Karolinska institutet, Sweden to inaugurate the 9th IDS. The Guest of Honour of the inauguration ceremony was Dr. Kamlesh Khunti, University of Leicester, UK. The Lifetime Achievement Award was presented to Padma Shri awardee Dr. V. Mohan, Chairman and Chief of Diabetology at Dr. Mohan’s Diabetes Specialities Centre, Chennai. More than 70 speakers from India and 11 International faculty from US and Europe along with 125 Chairpersons contributed to the success of this event. Both the auditoriums and the workshop meeting rooms were full of participants who thronged the halls.
